Welcome to Gota D’Água Surf Camp Tamraght! Learn how to surf in one of Morocco’s most famous surf spots near Taghazout and Agadir. Surrounded by golden beaches, palm trees, and warm Atlantic waters, you will enjoy a high-quality surf experience while being immersed in the local Moroccan culture and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you are new to surfing or an experienced surfer, you will meet people from all around the world who share the love for travel, surf, and discovering new waves.
We offer high-quality surf lessons for all levels at Tamraght and nearby Taghazout beaches. This includes group lessons for beginners and surf coaching for intermediate and advanced surfers. Tamraght offers a variety of waves, from mellow beach breaks perfect for beginners to challenging reef breaks for more experienced surfers. Our focus is on providing professional surf coaching in Morocco with certified and experienced instructors. We run weekly theory surf sessions with presentations and video analysis to help you progress faster during your surf camp week. The village is surrounded by golden sandy shores, clear Atlantic waters, and iconic palm trees. Within walking distance you’ll find local cafés, restaurants, and surf shops, all passionate about the surf lifestyle and spreading positive vibes. Dinners are served every night in our beautiful Surf Villa where we can enjoy spectacular local Morocco dishes as well as some more familiar dishes from home throughout the stay! The family dinner’s will have vegan, vegetarian, gluten- or lactose free options available.
The BBQ night is a special night, it is the night we enjoy together as a family and throw a small party in our Surf Villa. You can expect delicious food which we enjoy all together. The BBQ night will have vegan, vegetarian, gluten- or lactose free options available.
As many experts say: breakfast is the most important meal of the day especially when your day is full of activities like surfing! Our breakfast will be full of nutrition’s and you can expect a mix of local as well as internal breakfast options. Including vegan, vegetarian, gluten- or lactose free options.
Our surf house in Tamraght, Morocco, next to Taghazout, offers private rooms for 2 or 3 guests and shared dorms, all with private bathrooms and air conditioning. Just a few minutes’ walk from the beaches, it’s the perfect base for your surf camp experience, catching the waves and meeting fellow surfers in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
You’ll enjoy a welcoming communal space where guests gather to share meals, relax, and connect after a day on the water. With easy access to some of Morocco’s best surf spots, local cafés, and stunning coastal scenery, our surf house combines comfort, convenience, and the ultimate surf lifestyle.
The 3 different shared rooms have bunk beds for 4 people, 6 people and 8 people. Each person has a private sleeping cabin equipped with a curtain for privacy, power outlet, locker and a reading light! A perfect choice for a solo traveller and an excellent way to make new friends!
The private room can have a double bed or two single beds depending on your preferences. The room is equipped with bedside tables, nightlights, power outlet and a closet. Very comfortable for a private stay with your loved one or friend!

Tamraght is a charming surf village on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, located just north of Agadir and next to Taghazout. With golden sandy beaches, rugged cliffs, and swaying palm trees, it offers an authentic Moroccan surf experience.
The region combines sandy shores, rocky points, and hidden coves. Around the village, you’ll find local cafés, artisan markets, and traditional Moroccan eateries, all contributing to a vibrant coastal culture. Tamraght is perfect for travelers who want to mix surfing, exploration, and relaxation.
The best time to surf in Tamraght is October to April, when Atlantic swells create consistent waves for all skill levels. Morning sessions often feature light offshore winds, producing smooth, glassy waves. Water temperatures range from 18°C to 22°C, suitable for shorty or full wetsuits.
During the summer months (May to September), waves are smaller and ideal for beginners or longboarders. Nearby surf breaks such as Anchor Point, Devil’s Rock, Banana Beach, and Panorama offer a mix of beach and reef waves for a variety of experiences.
To make the most of your surf holiday, we’ve highlighted key spots around our surf house. Within walking distance, you’ll find local cafés, traditional Moroccan restaurants, artisan markets, supermarkets, and main surf breaks like Anchor Point and Devil’s Rock. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is close by, letting you focus on surfing, exploring, and soaking up the vibrant coastal culture.
You will have to follow the steps below:
1- Fly into Agadir-Al Massira Airport (AGA)
2- Take a taxi or shuttle to Agadir city: approximately €20–€25.
3- From Agadir, local minibuses or taxis will take you to Tamraght in 30–40 minutes – around €5–€10.

We welcome a lot of guests who are solo travelers. It’s our mission to create an inclusive environment that welcomes everyone. Whether you’re travelling alone or as part of a group we guarantee you’ll make friends along the way. 80% of our guests travel alone therefore we are well prepared to create an amazing experience for solo travellers.
The typical age range of our guests is around 21-40. However, there are always exceptions and we welcome guests of all ages.
We are always flexible and will do our best to accommodate even last minute bookings. However we do advise to book early if you plan to travel during peak season as we get booked up quickly in the summer months!
Of course – with so many activities and places to visit in the local area we welcome everyone not just for surfing.
We will ensure that you get to experience the local Portuguese cuisine including a variety of meat, fish and vegetarian options. Don’t worry, no matter what your requirements we will do our best to accommodate.
Check-in is from 3pm to 9pm and check-out is before 11am. However we are flexible and if you need to arrange a different time just contact us to let us know in advance.
Within walking distance of the camp you will find a supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, a laundrette, ATM’s and a pharmacy. Everything else you can find in Caparica town centre, nearby to our surf school.
We have free parking right outside our surf camp.

However, even as a beginner if you decide to visit during winter or spring we will always find a nice spot for you to catch some waves.
The surf groups for adults have a maximum capacity of 5 students per instructor. We divide the groups according to your experience level.
You can use the surf equipment (wetsuits and surfboard) throughout your whole stay during and before/after lessons. You can also change your equipment depending on the wave conditions.
Flights are not included.
We are offering free cancellations and rebooking opportunities for all bookings with travel dates 2021. Free cancellation is applicable within 7 days after we received the booking form with exception of bookings made within 45 days before arrival dates. Rebooking needs to be done 14 days prior to the arrival date. Customers can rebook with an arrival date within 12 months of the change date.
In all cases we advise you to always follow these steps:
Send us a written cancellation with the number of your Booking Confirmation and your account number included, and we will refund the amount within 2 weeks from the cancellation date.
The date on which we receive the cancellation will be crucial for the amount of the refund / the Traveler’s payment responsibilities.

The initial reservation to secure your booking along with the first installment of 25% (or payment in full) should be made online. The remaining 75% should be paid no less than 45 days prior to the arrival date online. Bookings made within 45 days of the date of arrival are paid in full at the time of booking.
